About Private School Axis

Concerning Private School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) not-for-profit organization that companions with Los Angeles location independent schools to create paths for underrepresented pupils and family members of shade to accessibility, navigate, and thrive secretive education and learning. Independent colleges do not properly represent the general Los Angeles population, where over 70% of residents are people of color. With our Axis friends, we sustain students and teachers of shade as they access private education possibilities with our recurring guidance. We additionally deal with Companion Schools throughout L.A. to make a long lasting and transformative effect on their diversity, equity, incorporation, and responsibility (DEIA) methods. By holding colleges accountable for just how they approach and deal with DEIA, we can achieve far better knowing end results for all pupils while also preparing them to become multiculturally competent people. Our genuine, extensive, and purposeful method seeks to produce a much more equal and just education experience for all.
